General Terms & Condition

Thank you for choosing Gateway of Andaman. We are committed to providing quality service and transparent policies for your travel experience. Please read the following Terms & Conditions carefully before booking your tour package with us.

Booking Policy

  • A booking is considered confirmed only after receipt of the required advance payment.
  • All bookings are subject to availability at the time of confirmation.
  • Full payment must be made before the start of the tour.

Payment Terms

  • 50% advance is required at the time of booking confirmation.
  • The remaining balance must be paid 7 days prior to the arrival date.
  • Payments can be made via UPI, bank transfer, or other methods as advised by our team.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel your trip, please notify us in writing. Cancellation charges apply as follows:

More than 30 days 25% of total cost
15–30 days 50% of total cost
7–14 days 75% of total cost
Less than 7 days No Show 100% (Non-refundable)

No refunds will be provided for unused services once the tour begins.

Amendment Policy

  • Any amendments to the booking (dates, services, names) are subject to availability and may attract additional charges.
  • Amendments requested less than 7 days prior to travel may be considered as cancellation.

Travel Documents

  • It is the guest’s responsibility to carry valid government-issued ID (for Indian citizens) or passports and visas (for foreign nationals).
  • Gateway of Andaman will assist in providing the itinerary, hotel vouchers, and ferry tickets, but is not responsible for denied boarding due to missing or incorrect documents.

Health & Safety

  • Travelers are responsible for ensuring they are fit to travel and must disclose any medical conditions in advance.
  • COVID-19 or other health-related regulations must be strictly followed.
  • Gateway of Andaman reserves the right to refuse service to any traveler posing a health risk.

Inclusions & Exclusions

Please refer to your tour package document for detailed Inclusions & Exclusions. Any items or services not mentioned in the inclusions will be considered excluded and chargeable.

Force Majeure

Gateway of Andaman will not be responsible for delays, changes, or cancellations due to:

  • Natural disasters
  • Government restrictions
  • Weather conditions
  • Strikes or civil disturbances

In such events, refunds or rescheduling will be subject to supplier policies.

Liability & Responsibility

  • We act as an agent for hotels, transport, and other third-party providers.
  • We are not liable for injury, loss, damage, accident, delay, or inconvenience arising from services beyond our control.

Accommodation & Transport

  • Hotel rooms and vehicle types are allocated based on availability and category chosen.
  • Early check-in/late check-out is subject to hotel policy and may incur additional charges.
  • Transport timings, including ferries and flights, are subject to change based on weather and operational conditions.

Child Policy

  • Children under 5 years sharing a bed with parents are usually complimentary.
  • Extra bed/mattress for children above 5 years may be chargeable.
  • Please confirm the child policy at the time of booking.

Behavior & Conduct

  • Clients are expected to behave respectfully and follow local laws.
  • Gateway of Andaman reserves the right to remove any guest from the tour for abusive or inappropriate behavior, without refund.

Refund Policy

  • Refunds (if applicable) will be processed within 10–15 working days after deducting applicable charges.
  • Ferry, flight, and hotel components may be non-refundable based on provider policies.

Jurisdiction

All legal matters will be under the jurisdiction of Port Blair, Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
